My main project this year centered around creating descriptions, interview questions, and landing pages for Impact Projects, Legacy Projects, and Laureates:

• Impact Projects honor living individuals who have inspired and supported their community through their values and causes.
• Legacy Projects honor individuals who have passed away, yet have made admirable changes and left behind a memorable legacy. 
• Laureates encompass both of these categories: it is a broad term describing individuals who have been recognized for their leadership and excellence.
• Laureate interns are Technology 4 Causes interns that honor laureates through upholding and preserving their initiatives, whether it's a scholarship, fundraiser, or award. Beyond initiatives, laureate interns create landing pages to promote the laureate's impact and empower our community to support similar causes.

In addition to creating the main landing page and template for this project, I also created 5 separate landing pages dedicated towards the following individuals:

- Richard "The Rev" Faust (Legacy Project)

- Paul Smeton (Impact Project)

- Larry Lombardi (Impact Project)

- Joshua Hamer (Legacy Project)

- Bob Chance (Impact Project)

This is a project that will continue to be expanded upon next summer as we assign interns to different impact and legacy projects, ensuring that each laureate is remembered for exemplfiying outstanding leadership and dedication in driving community change.

Educators 4 Impact (E4I) was another significant project I worked on throughout the summer, and during the school year as well. This is an emerging initiative that recognizes exceptional teachers in Harford County who have embodied excellence throughout their teaching career. These educators may overlap with impact and legacy projects. I created the main landing page for E4I, and I also wrote up a generic list of interview questions for educators!

Recently, I had the pleasure of interviewing Bob Chance, an advocator for environmental conservation and retired educator. It was so insightful to hear his personal story and the meaningful advice he had to offer. Using the research and responses I gathered from him, I created a landing page to highlight his contributions and the environmental movements he led.

For the past couple of months, Technology 4 Causes has been focused on obtaining sponsors for this year's Tee Up 4 Impact golf tournament. I worked alongside my fellow interns to reach out to numerous businesses, and we tracked them using an Excel spreadsheet. Using useful sites like Yelp, I searched for local businesses near me, and researched whether they donated to nonprofits and how to reach out to them. I either emailed them or used the inquiry forms listed on their websites to provide some background on who we are as a nonprofit and subsequently request a donation. I was successful in getting a response from Wegmans, who became one of our Hole Sponsors by donating $250.

I created a landing page to advertise Bridges of Baseball's All Star Watch Party, an event dedicated to fostering a community of baseball lovers and supporting important causes. This page included the event flyer and details.
