Aleeza's Intern Showcase

About Me

Name: Aleeza Khan

School:  University of Maryland - College Park

Year: Freshman

Major: Public Health Science

In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis and hanging out with friends. In addition, I also love to cook and bake and this summer my sisters and I created a Basque Cheesecake for the interns and employees!

How I joined the Guild

Originally, I found out about the Guild last year when my older sister, Yumnah, met Mrs. Shelly, who introduced her to the Guild. I joined the Guild last summer and had the opportunity to learn new skills while gaining a deeper understanding of T4C's mission.

As a returning intern, I was excited to rejoin the Guild and continue building on what I had learned last summer. I looked forward to connecting with more nonprofits, building more Landing Pages, and finding new ways to use technology to make a positive impact.

I’ve always been passionate about using technology to drive social impact, and T4C gave me a meaningful opportunity to turn that passion into action. T4C's mission isn't the only reason why I rejoined; the friendly working environment and amazing Interns/Bosses have shown me what makes T4C such a special nonprofit to be a part of.
