2026 Family Game Recap

Becoming a Tradition

On Friday, June 19th,  Baseball 4 Causes hosted our third Family Game on the collegiate-caliber turf field at The John Carroll School in Bel Air, MD. The game started at 6pm and was the third of the day for several of the fathers. But it was worth a little bit of pain for them to share this great experience with their family member!

Event Recap

The Baseball 4 Causes Family Game was the perfect way to close out an exciting day of baseball, bringing families together for a memorable evening under the lights. The game celebrated community, friendly competition, and the special moments that make Baseball 4 Causes such a unique experience.

One of the biggest highlights of the evening was Madison Greaver, who quickly became a fan favorite. With an enthusiastic and energetic cheering section that returned once again this year, Madison delivered an outstanding performance, driving in five RBIs and earning MVP honors for the game.

There were memorable performances throughout the field as well. Son of Mike Cattafesta, Greg Cattafesta, made several impressive defensive plays at shortstop and capped off the game with a strong inning on the mound. The Frantz family contributed both offensively and defensively, producing timely hits while making several outstanding plays in center field.

A special moment came as Steven and Tim Kutcher had the opportunity to play alongside one another for the first time in many years. The Wyatt family provided a steady presence throughout the game with solid pitching, strong defensive plays, and timely hitting, helping make the matchup competitive from start to finish.

As with every Baseball 4 Causes Family Game, the final score was secondary to the memories created. Families, friends, and supporters came together to enjoy America's pastime, strengthen community connections, and celebrate the spirit of the event. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for another unforgettable Family Game next year.
