About The Event
Harford Helps Community Giving Day brings together nonprofit organizations from across Harford County for a day focused entirely on giving back.
Instead of wondering where to donate clothing, household goods, books, pet supplies, school supplies, diapers, hygiene items, or other needed items, you'll have the opportunity to meet the organizations that need them most.
Whether you arrive with a car full of donations or simply want to learn more about the causes serving our community, you'll leave inspired and better connected to the organizations making a difference every day.

Join local nonprofit leaders and community experts for engaging presentations designed to educate, inspire, and strengthen our community.
Community Impact Workshops:

Family Giving Zone
Kids can experience how good it feels to give back through fun, hands on activities in the Family Giving Zone!
With supplies donated by the Harford Family Assistance Fund and St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, kids will help assemble 100 hygiene care bags filled with practical essentials such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, tissues, hand sanitizer, and other personal care items. The Harford Family Assistance Fund will donate the completed bags to the Harford County Department of Social Services to distribute to people experiencing homelessness in our community.
Kids can also add a personal touch by creating encouragement cards to include in the care bags. Arts and crafts supplies for the cards are being donated by the Women’s Giving Circle of Harford County.
It is a simple, meaningful way for kids to learn that everyone, no matter their age, can make a difference in our community.
Food Trucks
Come hungry and save room for dessert! Box Hill Pizzeria & Crab Cakes will be serving a delicious variety of crowd favorites, including their famous Maryland crab cakes, along with smash burgers, cheesesteaks, shrimp tacos, authentic gyros, crab mac & cheese, fresh salads, and kid-friendly meals. Then satisfy your sweet tooth with MAVO SWEET, offering premium desserts including waffle bowls, sundaes, loaded milkshakes, bubble tea, snowballs, smoothies, and handcrafted ice cream treats. There's something for everyone to enjoy while exploring the event!

Would your organization like to collect donations during Community Giving Day?
Please email info@harfordhelps.com with your organization name and a list of the donations you would like to collect.
Space is limited to 10 Donation Collection Partners. To maximize the impact of the event, we can only reserve one collection partner per donation category (for example: food, pet supplies, baby items, books, housewares, etc).
A $100 non-refundable participation fee is required to reserve your space and become a Donation Collection Partner.
