Why T4C?
I have been an intern with Technology 4 Causes for the past year and a half. I initially joined the guild because of my passion for writing, design, and community service. I hoped to strengthen my journalistic writing and gain more professional experience, both of which I achieved throughout my time with transformation guild. The reason I continued to work with the guild is that I loved the work I was doing and the incredible working environment.
My Role
This summer I primarily acted as a writer and graphic designer with Technology 4 Causes. As a writer I wrote several landing pages, emails, interview questions, and more! Through this I learned a lot about tone and developed my own narrative voice. As graphic designer I built upon my existing creative skills to create graphics, presentations, and logos. This work allowed me to express my creativity and gave me more experience in the medium of graphic design.

My Projects
Baseball Legacy Society Newsletter
During the school year we hoped to create a Baseball Legacy Society newsletter for people interested in the organization's mission and development. Me and Myra were tasked with planning, writing, and designing the inaugural issue. As graphic designer, I created the header, footer, and general template for the newsletter. I also co-wrote and edited several of the featured stories.
BUBA Teen Talk
BUBA hosted a teen talk about mental health with the help of T4C. As part of the initiative, I designed a pamphlet and poster advertising the event. In addition to this, I also attended the event in a journalistic capacity where I interviewed several BUBA scholars. I then used those interviews and my personal observations to create a recap page for the event featuring testimonials I collected.
Compassionate People Care
Compassionate People Care is a non-profit organization that goes on annual mission trips to Cuba. For said organization I created a page recapping the 2025 trip and updated the general CPC page. To aid in the development of the landing pages I conducted interviews with multiple missionaries and the organizations founder. In addition to the pages, I also designed a variety of reusable graphics using Canva to promote the organizations cause and aid in fundraising efforts.
Sacco Banquet
This year the William J Sacco foundation hosted their 15th annual award ceremony. I attended the ceremony and interviewed both students and educator award winners. I used this information to create a recap landing page summarizing the event and promoting the Sacco Foundation.
My Projects
Bridges of Baseball
For Bridges of Baseball, I created a landing page recapturing one of their events. I lead the project by creating thought provoking interview questions, conducting an interview over the phone, and creating the page featuring all the event's special moments.
Josh Hamer Memorial Scholarship Fund
In addition to creating landing pages, I also refurbished landing pages over the duration of the summer. The Josh Hamer Memorial Scholarship Fund page needed to be updated both visually and in terms of information. To accomplish this, I conducted research on the foundation across a multitude of sources and reorganized large components of the page.
Paul Smeton Classic Over 60
With fellow intern Sylvia I attended the Paul Smeton Classic Over 60 game as well as the B4C pool party afterwards. There we interviewed various attendees about their experience, connection to Paul Smeton, and favorite part of the games. We proceeded to use this information to create a recap landing page for the event featuring many photos and testimonials.
