Building Our Field of Dreams
The Susquehanna Baseball Academy (SBA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing young athletes into leaders both on and off the field. Through discipline, teamwork, faith, integrity, and community service, our coaches strive to build character just as much as baseball skills.
The academy is led by Head Coach Bryan Maxfield and Assistant Coach David Hughes, two dedicated mentors who have devoted their careers to serving others. They bring that same commitment to the Susquehanna Baseball Academy, volunteering their time to develop young athletes into disciplined, confident leaders. More than coaches, they are role models who teach accountability, integrity, resilience, and teamwork—lessons that extend far beyond the game of baseball.
The SBA is currently building a permanent home field for the Susquehanna Nocks in partnership with Mountain Christian Church. This field will provide the players with a place to practice, compete, and grow while serving as a lasting resource for the surrounding community.
Construction is already underway, but there is still much to be done. Your support will help fund essential components of the project, including dugouts, fencing, backstops, foul poles, bases, infield materials, and other improvements needed to complete the "Field of Dreams."
Every donation helps create a place where young athletes can develop confidence, leadership, and lifelong values for generations to come.

Donation Offers
Susquehanna offers a sponsorship/partnership with businesses that offer our support in return, including promotions, physical and digital media advertising, fundraising schemes, and custom uniforms with their logo.
Sponsorship Opportunities:
Gold Division – $1,500+
- Custom, one-of-a-kind jersey or apparel featuring your business logo.
- Trophy of appreciation to proudly display at your business
- Full-size promotional banner displayed at all games.
- Continuous promotion through our team’s social media platforms
Silver Division – Up to $999
- Trophy of appreciation for your business
- Small promotional banner at games
- Approximately 10 social media shoutouts
The direct donations go to the team and, more specifically, the field renovation. We still have dugouts, backstop, play dirt, bases, foul poles, etc. that need to be purchased. For those donations over $1,000, we will be doing a wall of appreciation with plaques. Each person/ family will have their own home plate here at the field
Anyone donating over $4,500 will receive a custom table built by Stees Design. In essence, when purchasing the table, those proceeds are donated to the team. Stees Design is also offering that any donation over $5,000 can choose to use $3,500 off their own custom wooden piece of their choosing.
The sponsorships and donations go directly to Susquehanna Baseball Academy. Another way to donate is to use the GoFundMe link to submit payment. GoFundMe is easier if they share our story and get others to join in and help.

Baseball 4 Causes (B4C) is the baseball philanthropy division of Technology 4 Causes, a non-profit organization dedicated to making a positive impact through technology and support services. At B4C we help:
- Support community ballpark initiatives through our Community Ballpark Alliance.
- Carry on legacies through our Baseball Legacy Society.
- Run events through our B4C Baseball Program, such as the Paul Smeton (60+) Classic Tournament and the Harford Experience Tournament.
- Provide support to other non-profits such as Harford Family House where we donated the technology to facilitate their Homeruns for the Homeless Event.
- Partner with other non-profits to promote community events, such as the Baltimore Urban Baseball Association's Field of Futures Event.
- Support student internships and provide transformative experiences for young writers and media professionals through the Transformation Guild.
