Who Are We?
Community Ballpark Alliance
The Community Ballpark Alliance is a network of baseball leagues and organizations collaborating to support the art of baseball in Harford County. We plan to accomplish this by crafting a collaborative, organizational model focused on coordinating the use of and bettering athletic fields among various teams across the Harford County area. We strive to foster a sense of unity among Harford County baseball leagues and create a community we can be proud of through the values of ambition, inclusivity, teamwork, and leadership.
Our Mission
The Community Ballpark Alliance is dedicated to creating elite, collegiate-caliber facilities that serve both partner organizations and the broader community. Alongside the fields themselves we hope to craft a structured system based on the community's needs to prioritize meaningful use and support the longevity of our fields. Our model is simple: bring opportunities for the community to experience first-class facilities while driving continuous improvement and expansion of those facilities for long-term benefit. On a larger scale, we strive to create a clear pathway for businesses and community organizations to support youth mentorship, technology, and community events—while also investing in the long-term transformation of a regional facility into a nonprofit-powered hub.
Our Vision
While John Carroll is our lead site, the Community Ballpark Alliance is a scalable model. In the future we hope expand to other schools and community sites. Alliance Advisory Board
The Community Ballpark Alliance Advisory Board will be equipped with specific knowledge and experience to help provide strategic guidance, advice, and support to an organization or project. Members will offer their insights and recommendations based on their expertise, helping the organization make informed decisions and navigate challenges.

Priority Based Access
Within The Community Ballpark Alliance, field access is decided by a priority system based a specific set of standards divided into three primary tiers.
1. Primary Facility Needs
The fundamental needs and present circumstances of the host organization or institution.
2. CBA Member Organizations
Partners and associates of The Community Ballpark Alliance that participate and contribute to its ever-growing mission.
3. Independent or Non-Member Use
Organizations or institutions outside of The Community Ballpark Alliance arranging outside rentals, scheduled after higher priority use.
This structure encourages organizations to participate in the Alliance while also promoting communal coordination and compassion by supporting those who need it most.
Kutcher Foundation Stadium
On November 4, The John Carroll School held a ceremonial groundbreaking to officially launch construction of Alumni Field at Kutcher Foundation Stadium; a top-tier, multi-purpose baseball facility made possible through a transformative grant from the Kutcher Foundation, the largest in the school’s history. The Alumni Field at Kutcher Foundation Stadium serves as a flagship site within the Community Ballpark Alliance, designed to foster community engagement, support innovation, and provide lasting value to the greater Harford County area. More than just a field, the project embodies a forward-thinking vision: integrating athletics with experiential education. The Kutcher Foundation’s support is facilitating the development of innovative learning spaces both on and off the field, including specialized programs in computer science, data analytics, and sports journalism.
Who's this Stadium For?
Alumni Field at Kutcher Foundation Stadium was built with a clear purpose: to serve as a resource for the entire community, not just a school. The stadium aims to be a shared space for students, families, and the greater Harford County community. While the stadium is located on the campus of The John Carroll School, it is a flagship site of the Community Ballpark Alliance, a regional initiative designed to increase access to high-quality recreational spaces and learning opportunities.

Stadium's Journey
In November 2019, the groundbreaking for this unique field marked more than just the beginning of construction. Supported by a landmark grant from the Kutcher Foundation, the project aimed to create a multi-purpose, community-accessible facility capable of hosting both athletic and educational activities.
By spring 2022, the field was actively in use, featuring synthetic turf, dugouts, a removable pitching mound, and adjustable bases, making it ideal for baseball and softball at all levels.
In spring 2025, a major upgrade added stadium lighting, enabling night games, community events, and extended programming hours, an exciting milestone that demonstrates ongoing investment in making the field accessible and lively year-round.
Running Campaigns
Dugout Campaign
Our first initiative to work towards our goal of crafting excellence on the baseball field is the installation of dugouts on the John Carroll Baseball field. Dugouts provide a space for coaches and players to regroup. For coaches, they are essential for communicating with players, keeping track of equipment, and analyzing the game from a controlled environment. For players dugouts serve as areas for rest and bonding, getting them out of the sun, allowing them to reassess their strategy, and giving them an opportunity to connect with their fellow players. This addition to the John Carroll field would boost team morale and foster a more positive environment for players and coaches alike. In supporting this campaign, your organization will be aiding in the betterment of baseball at the foundational level.

Technology 4 Causes
The mission of Technology 4 Causes (T4C) is to support specialized assistance programs and charitable initiatives, expanding their positive impact through the multiplying powers of technology, networking, and collaboration.
The vision of Technology 4 Causes is to operate numerous Mentoring Programs, Technology Assistance Programs, Sports 4 Causes Programs, and Helping Hubs. The combination of these initiatives creates a powerful multiplying effect for all T4C activities powered by a common technology platform and philanthropic infrastructure.

Transformation Guild
The Transformation Guild is a mentoring program of Technology 4 Causes, which was launched by the Kutcher Foundation in collaboration with DICORP, Inc. to create a powerful philanthropic impact through the multiplying forces of technology. The Guild is dedicated to harnessing the power of writing and technology to create a positive impact in society. Our primary focus is to engage and inspire young writers to craft compelling stories that encourage involvement in non-profit organizations and charitable initiatives. By providing guidance and instruction through mentorship, we ensure that these young writers receive the necessary support to thrive. Through their participation in this program, they gain invaluable experience while contributing to a greater cause.
