2025 DCMSBL Playoff Central

Welcome to Playoff Central for the 2025 DCMSBL Season!

Season Update

We understand this has been a very frustrating season with the poor weather and we appreciate your patience. Our team is doing their best to get as many games made up as possible.

If for any reason re-scheduled games cannot be made up by the end of the regular season, each team affected will receive one (1) point and the game will be considered a "no play" game and those teams will have the option of playing those re-scheduled games prior to the start of the DCMSBL Fall League season.

Playoff seeding will be determined based on:

  • Overall team points
  • Head-to-head record
  • Fewest runs allowed

Playoff Format

All playoff games are single elimination until the championship series which are best of THREE games - this applies only to the 18+, 30+ and 40+ championship series. 50+ and 60+ are a single championship game. Summary of Series:
On Sunday, the series split early with the K-Flames taking Game 1, 6–2, and Arsenal answering in Game 2 with a 9–7 win, setting up a winner-take-all showdown. The series was extremely competitive from start to finish, with numerous lead changes in every game. Game 3 was a grind for both teams after just three days of rest, testing the depth and resilience of each roster. In the end, the K-Flames had just a little more firepower at the plate, belting four home runs that accounted for seven of their eight runs in an 8–5 victory.

K-Flames Article:
After 14 seasons without a championship, we finally got it done! In the past, we’d lost four title games -- all in dramatic fashion -- but this year’s squad had the perfect mix: top-tier talent, rock-solid role players, and wily veterans, backed by the deepest roster we’ve ever had. We’ve always had a blast win or lose, but this one felt different… like it was our turn. The icing on the cake? Doing it the same year I was inducted into the HOF! Huge congrats to this team -- our best squad yet -- so well deserved. Cheers!
