I had been praying about going on my first mission trip for quite some time when I saw Liz Acosta leaving church one Sunday. Liz mentioned to me that she was leading a small group to Cuba, which included a two-day youth sports camp. I love coaching kids and seeing the smiles on their faces when they are playing a sport they enjoy or learning something for the first time.
What is your favorite memory/thing about Cuba?
I have so many amazing memories of my time in Cuba. The way that the Cubans worshiped during service was so moving and infectious. They are so thankful, passionate, and grateful during worship and daily for what our Heavenly Father has blessed them with.
