About Mike
My name is Mike, I am 66 years old and have been married to Kathy for 46 years. I enjoy my grandsons, family and life. I am a part owner of a mechanical contracting business and looking forward to retirement in a few years. Retirement will give me more time to serve others around my neighborhood and in other countries wherever the Spirit leads me. I humbly await what God has in store for the next season of my life. I love to repair, fix things, teach people and share God’s love for his people.
Mike & Cuba
How many times have you visited Cuba?
Four times.
Why support Cuba?
When my wife Kathy came home from her first trip to Cuba, she could not stop talking about the love, kindness, and spirituality the people possess. Experiencing the lack of tools, things we can go to Home Depot and easily buy, which are simply not there, made my heart ache. However, despite the scarcity, Cubans are ingenious creators and devoted workers!
What is your favorite memory/thing about Cuba?
Presenting a jar of nuts, bolts, screws, wire nuts, and other miscellaneous tools to the workers. You would have thought I gave them a pot of gold!
Support Cuba
Help me reach my goal of $3,000. All proceeds will go directly to benefiting Compassionate People Care's missionary work for Cuba. All proceeds will support humanitarian aid in Cuba.
