About Me!
Taylor Deminds
School: Edgewood High School
Grade: 12th
In addition to writing, I love painting, reading, music, and all things creative.
Why T4C?
Two of my biggest passions are writing and community service. Technology 4 Causes is the perfect intersection between those interests and gives me the opportunity to give back to the community I’ve been a part of my whole life. Through my time with the Transformation Guild, I hoped to strengthen my journalistic writing and gain practical experience and I can confidently say I did achieve both those goals.
Lessons From The Summer
This summer I had to overcome several issues, it was a completely new environment where I didn’t know anyone and wasn’t familiar with any of the programs. I overcame these issues by just listening to the people around me and making everything a learning experience.
- Creating landing pages
- Writing partnership letters
- Writing compelling profiles
- Balancing formal and creative writing
- Utilizing the tools efficiently

My Projects
Community Ballpark Alliance
I wrote a partnership letter for the Community Ballpark Alliance and with Aleeza, created the long awaited landing page for the alumni field at John Carroll High School and Community Ballpark Alliance. I also researched potential partners.
Baseball Legacy Society
I aided Joseph and Sylvia in creating a questionnaire form for nominations for the Baseball Legacy Society landing page. This involved formatting and creating the questions.
Reusable Graphics
I utilized Canva to create reusable graphics for the T4C social media, specifically to aid in the growth of the Instagram page. The goal of the graphics is to attract future interns and promote the mission of Technology 4 Causes.
Musco Sports Lighting
I conducted research on one of our golf tournament sponsors, Musco Sports Lighting, for the landing page. My notes consisted of their mission, initiatives, and awards they've won.

My Role
This summer I primarily acted as researcher and graphic designer for Technology 4 Causes. As a researcher I contributed to various projects outside of my own larger goals and I’ve been able to learn a little bit about everything. Working as a graphic designer gave me an opportunity to experiment creatively and I was able to create a decent variety of graphics to circulate across the T4C social media.
