What is Science Olympiad?

Overview

Competition in regional and state-wide Science Olympiad tournaments. Variety of student team events, physics, engineering, environmental science, cell biology, forensic science and many more.

Purpose

The purpose of the Science Olympiad is competition in the regional and statewide Maryland Science Olympiad tournaments and competing in other regional and online Science Olympiad tournaments.

Logistics

Days: Thursdays

Time: 3 PM (then students scheduled in groups)

Other Information

For every event you get to do some kind of hands-on activity, such as building a rocket, making catapults, dropping eggs off roofs, making instruments and writing music for them, and designing experiments, to name a few.
