What is the Ethics Bowl?

Overview

This team will prepare for the High School Mid-Atlantic Regional Ethics Bowl, a debate competition involving ethical issues, in February.

Purpose

To explore contemporary issues of the day through an ethical lens. Students will develop critical thinking skills, logical argument skills, learn about ethics, and practice advocacy skills in front of event judges.

Logistics

Days: Wednesdays or Fridays (Depending on best dates for team members).

Time: 3:00-4:00 pm

Where: Room 108

How Often: Twice a month during September through December. Weekly meetings in January. At least twice a week in February to prepare for the University of Baltimore Ethics Bowl in February.
