Bel Air, MD – The first-ever Baseball 4 Causes (B4C) 60+ Fall Classic took place on October 14-15, 2023, at Kutcher Foundation Stadium on the campus of The John Carroll School. 30 players gathered to participate in the two-day, three team tournament.

With the tournament quickly approaching, weather reports showed the possibility of rain on day 1, but that didn't deter the participants who were once again eager to hit field, and many of which who dealt with the elements at the B4C Ripken Experience just one month prior. While the weather allowed for just one game on day 1, the sun shined brightly for day 2, and everyone took advantage of the beautiful fall weather. Two very competitive games were played on Sunday, and players were able to have some time to socialize with a group lunch in between.

As with each B4C event, a title organization is named to raise donations for. Baseball 4 Causes was able to benefit two very deserving organizations: Gear 4 Kids, and The Joshua Hamer Legacy Foundation. The Gear 4 Kids initiative aims to provide equipment to organizations in need, recognizing the positive impact access to sports equipment can have on youth participation and development in sports programs. The Joshua Hamer Legacy Foundation, established followed the tragic passing of Joshua Hamer at the age of 15, provides financial assistance to high school seniors in Cecil or Harford County, Maryland to attend college.

B4C is proud to announce that through the proceeds from the event, a combined $1,800 was donated to the two organizations.
