2025 B4C Harford Experience Recap

Event Overview

Congratulations to the home team, Squad C and D, for their strong performance and well-deserved victory at the Harford Experience. The tournament featured exciting and competitive games over the weekend.

On Day One, during the morning game, Squad C + D fell behind but won 10–5, fueled by powerful hitting and solid defense, including highlight plays like JR Patarakis’ diving stop at third base. The afternoon game went down to the wire, with Squad A + C narrowly holding on for a 9–8 victory in a thrilling back-and-forth battle.

Day Two continued the fun with veteran players and youth volunteers from US Elite Baseball mixing it up on the field. The “shoeless wonder,” Adam Pattisall, and others contributed to memorable moments, including impressive hits and home runs that kept the energy high throughout the day. The event was not only a great showcase of talent and sportsmanship, but also a fantastic opportunity for community engagement and support. Thanks to everyone who participated and volunteered, helping make this tournament a huge success!

Thursday Night Cookout

Participants in the Harford Experience and Over 60 events gathered for a special evening of connection and celebration at John and Sue Kutcher’s home. The event created a warm, welcoming atmosphere where friends, both old and new, enjoyed a delicious dinner with tender pulled pork, savory chicken, and a variety of sides and drinks. The highlight of the evening was an energetic performance of classic rock music by Joe Teague, Steven Kutcher, and Shane Grimm—each a talented musician and proud member of the Harford Experience and Over 60 community. Their music filled the backyard with nostalgic tunes and positive vibes, setting the perfect mood for a summer evening. Guests mingled poolside, shared laughter and stories, and appreciated the relaxed setting. Even when a storm rolled in around 7 p.m., spirits stayed high as everyone took shelter under the deck's cover and tents, undeterred by the weather. The storm became part of the gathering—a reminder that with the right company, nothing can ruin a good time.

Supporting Meaningful Causes

Transformation Guild

The Transformation Guild is a youth mentoring initiative from Technology 4 Causes, launched by the Kutcher Foundation in collaboration with DICORP, Inc. This program empowers young writers to make a difference by combining storytelling with technology. Through hands-on mentorship, students learn to craft impactful narratives that promote nonprofit work and inspire community engagement. The Guild provides a platform for students and young adults to grow their skills, amplify their voices, and contribute meaningfully to causes that matter.

John Carroll Baseball Field

The next phase of the John Carroll Baseball Field development includes the addition of dugouts, terraced viewing areas, and enhanced access through strategically placed steps for spectators. This effort aims to elevate both the functionality and experience of the space, creating a more engaging environment for players and the community. Support through ongoing fundraising efforts will be instrumental in bringing this vision to life.
