2024 Father & Son/Daughter Recap

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the inaugural Father & Son/Daughter Game!

The Inaugural Game

The Father & Son/Daughter Game was a resounding success, featuring over 20 participants from 11 different families, including one spanning three generations. The game took place on July 15th at John Carroll High School’s Alumni Field at 5:00 PM, following three Over 60 games.

Participants ranged in age from 14 to over 70 and included former collegiate player Nico Santoro, a Lebanon Valley record holder for most games played in a season, and even a female softball player holding her own in the baseball game. Despite the diverse group, the game was highly competitive with emotions running high on both sides. The weather was hot and sunny, reaching 100 degrees during the 9-inning game. Impressively, some players participated in two Over 60 league games before joining their children for a third game in the summer heat!

The event received great feedback, and we plan to host more Father & Child games in the future. Stay tuned for additional information!
